The first day at school
The first day at school is always an unforgettable experience. I still remember how excited and nervous I felt that morning. As I put on my neatly pressed uniform and packed my bag, my heart was beating fast with anticipation. When I reached the school gate, I saw many students walking around, some chatting with friends and some looking a little anxious like me. The school building looked bigger and more beautiful than I had imagined, with colorful walls, large windows, and a playground full of children playing joyfully.
When the bell rang, I walked into my classroom, where I met my new classmates and my teacher for the first time. Everyone was smiling and trying to make friends. My teacher greeted us warmly and introduced herself, explaining the rules of the class and what we would learn during the year. I felt a mix of excitement and shyness, but slowly, I began talking to my classmates, sharing our hobbies and favorite subjects. We laughed together and made promises to help each other throughout the school year.
During the day, we had several lessons, and I realized how interesting learning could be. I enjoyed listening to stories in English class, solving puzzles in math, and drawing pictures during art. At recess, I went out to the playground and played with my new friends. The laughter, running around, and sharing snacks made me feel happy and included. By the end of the day, I had already made a few friends, and my nervousness had completely disappeared.
Looking back, I can say that my first day at school was a mixture of curiosity, excitement, and learning. It taught me the importance of being brave, making new friends, and enjoying every moment of life. That day left me with memories I will always cherish, and it marked the beginning of a wonderful journey in education and friendship. I went home that evening with a smiling face, ready to come back the next day and explore more of what school had to offer.
